Petrobras has reported that the Almirante Tamandare FPSO in Buzios has reached a peak production of 270,000 barrels per day, surpassing its original nameplate capacity of 225,000 barrels per day and making it the highest-producing platform in Brazil. An additional six platforms have similarly been adapted to operate above their original capacities, collectively contributing more than 100,000 barrels per day of incremental output without requiring additional capital investment or construction.
