About Peter Pan Nursery
The nursery opened with just eight children and two staff. The nursery gradually grew with the family home being extended to accommodate more children. In 1994 the nursery moved to its present home St Thomas church with parents and staff raising funds to add toilets and a kitchen to the old wooden and tin building which was originally built in 1901. It was at this point that the present owner, Mrs Sue Lewis and her mother became partners and ran the nursery together. Jean Mintram retired in 2002 and Sue Lewis now owns and manages the nursery. In 2015 the nursery changed its name and logo to Peter Pan Nursery and Forest School. During the summer of 2016 Mr and Mrs Lewis built a log cabin in the grounds.
