Persha Studia

Persha Studia was founded in 2000 by 15 leading professionals in software development, graphic design, and management. Initially, Persha Studia was focused on delivering various projects outsourced from prominent western studios and publishers, including DICE, Electronic Arts, Codemasters, Midway, Sega, and Disney Interactive. Persha Studia was val... ued for its team of talented graphic designers who not only skillfully modelled game characters and locations, but also created full motion videos using animation and computer graphics. 2004 was a big year for the company as it signed a contract with Midway to provide graphics for the Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows game. The team worked closely with renowned game developer John Romero, who led the project, and their art department was responsible for creating all graphics for the game, including models of over 250 characters. In 2005, the studio opened a Computer Graphics Academy. In 6 years from its founding the Academy has welcomed thousands of successful designers and artists. Some of them continued their careers at Persha Studia, while others went on to successfully develop games in other parts of the world. As their reputation for excellence grew, Persha Studia started to receive more and more contracts from world-renowned companies, and as a result the team increased to 90 people. The number later grew up to 168 employees, as a new mobile department was established in 2006. At the time, the team was supporting existing and new titles for Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo DS and Wii, Sony PlayStation Portable, and other platforms.
