Through our partnership with Pattern, our farm became more of a self-sustaining enterprise. Weve benefited enormously from the project. We are very grateful to have it. Pattern Energy is a global leader in renewable energy. Our core values include a commitment to local New Mexican communities and environmental stewardship, and we operate worldwide... with U.S. offices in Albuquerque, San Francisco, Houston, and San Diego. Responsible for New Mexicos largest renewable power investment, worth more than $1.6 Billion in economic benefits, we plan to quadruple our investment. We hire local people and we work with communities to create long-lasting partnerships that benefit all New Mexicans. Pattern Energy became part of the community, building relationships with civic leaders and hosting or participating in community events. At the wind farm dedication, everybody just felt like they were part of the blade signing like they were rock stars. Each year we contribute millions of dollars through our Community Relations and Community Benefit Programs. And the tax revenues collected by communities where we operate goes to fund schools and other local priorities, such as fire departments and other first responders. Our Broadview and Grady Wind Power Facilities in Curry County have already generated $1.6 billion in positive economic impact and put hundreds of New Mexicans to work. Our roads were in bad shape, but the funding from the wind farm, provided over the span of two decades, allows our communities and county to repair and maintain them for a long time to come. Central to our commitment is our support of education. We already support causes like the New Mexicos Governors STEM Challenge, KidWind, and Mesa Lands Community College, which has supplied several wind turbine technicians for our New Mexico facilities.
