About Pacifica High School
Our club is an official club of Pacifica High School since September 2006. We originally launched off the Pacifica Biology Club on October 1, 2004 as the Marine Biology Club to keep our ?Kelp Kart? project alive (our small group had been working with the Orange County Coastkeeper on this project for the 2003-2004 school year to grow kelp in our oceans). A month later, we decided that our purpose would be broader. Not only would we focus on marine biology, we would focus on creating awareness of all aspects of environmental science. The Marine Biology Club then evolved into what is known now as the Pacifica Environmental Science Club, or simply, Pacifica ESC. This website serves as a portal to our many projects, events, and showcases our work. We hope our efforts will help people know more about how important it is to keep our dear Earth clean and help it to be able to sustain life for years to come.
