He is a former prosecutor in Houston, Harris County, Texas and brings with him 16 years of legal experience. Prior to joining Novak Law Firm, Lonnie attended over 3,000 mortgage foreclosure-related appearances on behalf of Bank of America, N.A. amid the subprime mortgage crisis of 2009. Lonnie is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. During his free time, he enjoys playing piano, adventure, motivational speaking and gospel music. Sam decided he wanted to be a lawyer in the 10th grade, when he took a You and the Law Civics class in High School and enjoyed the content about the legal process. He never looked back and graduated from LSU Law School in 1989 and has been practicing the art of criminal law ever since. He enjoys helping clients achieve fair resolutions on their cases for approximately 30 years. He has been practicing the last 20 years here in Houston, including 3 years as an assistant District Attorney in 2001 to 2003.
