Acting as a partner and solution provider, Myndar joined the brand in evaluating their business and determining the scope of improvement in operations. With the aim of enhancing operational efficiency, the project focuses on improving inventory management, logistics, inventory checking and front line sales service. The project begins with RFID-tagging all the merchandise from the factory level, each item will then contain a unique product ID with respective product information and so as to enhance product traceability in all stages of the business flow. It works as an important link to other Myndar devices, mLog, mHand and mTray. The mLog increases throughput and provides full visibility throughout the supply chain; the mHand is a portable handheld device for stock take in retail as an efficiency and security measure reducing shrinkage while allowing staff to focus on sales rather than operations. At shop level, the mTray facilitates customer servicing with streamlined sales process, and captures customer buying behaviour for big data analysis. This partnership has exceeded expectations as the brand has seen significant improvements in throughput, stock accuracy, labor costs, shrinkage and sales.
