MRESC works closely with eighteen K-12 districts, two career centers, and two community colleges. MRESC also has long-standing mutual relationships with ESCs in Region 6 and throughout Ohio. These relationships have been essential to the delivery of innovative and cost effective services. To support student opportunities in higher education, MRESC... maintains close partnerships with Edison State Community College, Clark State Community College, Rhodes State Community College, Bowling Green State University, University of Dayton, and many other colleges and career centers. The MRESC also coordinates its services with regional health and human service agencies, city, township and county government, chambers of commerce, as well as other business groups and corporations. The administrative offices for the MRESC are centrally located in Bellefontaine, Ohio. MRESC also maintains satellite offices in Sidney and Kenton. From these offices more than 225 committed employees serve our member districts in Shelby, Logan, and Hardin Counties. Our annual budget of approximately $15 million is funded by state appropriations, fee for service programs, special projects, and grants. In addition to managing much of the educational services within our three county region, MRESC operates the Opportunity School and SEED program at Sidney City Schools, and the virtual learning lab in Logan County.Read More
