My name is Mel Guilliatt and I have lived in the Gainsborough area all of my life. I am a D.S.A Approved Driving Instructor and am also Pass Plus Registered. For many years, I have been running a successful driving school in Gainsborough and in the surrounding area. I am passionate about driving, with 25 years of experience, and am a calm and patie... nt instructor. I enjoy meeting new people, and love passing on the skills I've learnt whilst driving on to my pupils. My aim is to give pupils the skills and knowledge to drive with confidence, to meet the standards required by the D.S.A. and to pass the driving test as quickly as possible. I teach learners to drive in all types of traffic and road conditions and give the less experienced drivers refresher courses to help with confidence that they may they lack. New drivers need not worry; I always start off on the quieter roads. Pass Plus courses can be taken after you have passed your practical driving test. Save money on your insurance, and gain driving experience with Pass Plus. On completion you will receive a Pass Plus certificate from the D.S.A. Prices available on request. It is always important to drive in a car that you feel comfortable with, and is not too large when you first learn to drive. It is a fact that the majority of new drivers first purchase a car which is small. I teach in a Mini 1 diesel which, for your safety, is fitted with dual controls. These dual controls are for the clutch and brake and ensure were always in control whilst you master learning to drive.
