MEA Clinics

MEA was founded in 1979 by a group of physicians who understood that patients' medical needs often occurred outside the traditional 8am to 5pm clinic setting. The first MEA Medical Clinic opened in Pearl and offered extended hours, including Saturday, with no appointment needed to see the doctor. MEA now has thirteen clinics, with locations in Pear... l, Madison, Canton, South Jackson, Brandon, Byram, Clinton, Flowood, Richland, the North Clinic on Old Canton Road, Vicksburg and Laurel. Primary Care Clinics were added in 1998 to provide a continuum of care, and is located in Ridgeland. Additionally, MEA offers drug testing onsite and at all Ambulatory Care Clinics. MEA also provides an Employee Assistance Program through MEA Cares. The company's mission at MEA Medical Clinics is to meet the ambulatory and primary care needs of the company's patients in a manner that combines compassion and convenience. While the company's physicians strive to provide comprehensive healthcare, the company do not represent or replace hospital emergency care; nor can the company treat chronic pain syndromes.
