Mr. Mason was previously a Partner at the nationally recognized plaintiffs' law firm Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll, P.L.L.C. where he was the Chair of the Products Liability and Consumer Protection Practice Group. We have obtained substantial settlements in class actions involving defective building materials, including radiant heating systems, which settled for $236 million, and synthetic stucco (EIFS), which was resolved with a settlement providing case and repairs to more than 7,000 homeowners. We have also obtained significant victories for homeowners in toxic tort litigation. We obtained a $6.2 million settlement for the owners and residents of 200 properties in Washington, D.C., after they discovered an underground plume of petroleum from a nearby gas station.
