About Legacy Lodge
Meet Larry and Tammy Hurt, the owners and operators of Sweet Legacy, their Wedding decor and rental business in Eau Claire, and Legacy Lodge, Wisconsins newest premier wedding destination, and vacation rental spot located on Barker Lake in Winter Wisconsin. This is their love story. Larry first met Tammy at a Bible study in Dillon, Montana ~ where he was playing college football and she was decorating college apartments. After months of being "just friends," Larry skipped the dating phase and went straight to a proposal. They were married in August of 1985. Over the past thirty-three years of marriage, Larry and Tammy became guardians over a mentally handicapped woman, raised five biological children and then adopted two kids from Africa. Yep, that makes a total of 10 people in the family. Caleb, graduated from UW-Stout majoring in business administration and minoring in digital marketing.
