Lamanna Engineering Consultants, LLC was founded in 2006 by Tulane University professor Anthony J. Lamanna. Following hurricane katrina, the university made the decision to eliminate all mechanics-based engineering programs, including the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Recognizing the need for quality engineering work, Zhanna an... d Anthony Lamanna expanded LEC to assist in the efforts to rebuild and revitalize New Orleans and the surrounding area. In 2014, the company was moved to Richmond, KY so that Dr. Lamanna could teach at Eastern Kentucky University. LEC is a woman-owned business. LEC is licensed to provide Professional Engineering services in Kentucky under Permit Number 3821. Our engineers are licensed in Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New York, and maintain records at the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) .
