As Team Architects New Zealand we work nationwide both as a national practice, Team Architects Ltd, and in our nine studios based across the country. Our studios are individually owned by local directors, and each studio is an equal shareholder in our national company. Most of our local projects are directly handled by one or more of our studios. B... ut Team Architects also contracts our services as a national company for significant nationwide clients, with our studios collaborating to provide the necessary resource and expertise. Our Specialist Centres focus on specific types of projects and bring together the skills and experience of our architects and key staff in various studios, leveraging the best advice and service. We design places for people to live, work, and play. Our vision is to ensure that every built environment we create delights and meets the needs of its users. Achieving this requires: Open-mindedness we think outside the box and collaborate with all project stakeholders. In May 1995, directors of three architectural practices from Wellington, Auckland and Napier gathered to explore ways to collaborate. The outcome was the establishment of a consortium called Team Architecture that would share best practice, collegial support, marketing and future projects. By 2000, practices from Greymouth, New Plymouth, Dunedin, Christchurch and Hamilton had joined the group.
