Many people consider MSG to be a trigger for food allergies that, in its mildest reaction produces "dry-mouth" all the way through migraine headaches and even potentially lethal anaphylactic shock syndrome. Kings Buffet eliminated its use as a seasoning several years ago and we say with confidence - "No MSG Added". However, that being said, some fresh, frozen and pre-prepared products that we purchase (like bacon, sausages, salad dressings and base mixes) have or may have MSG. We have learned that many foods, including fresh vegetables such as green peppers and mushrooms contain naturally occurring MSG and that any statement regarding its presence, or lack thereof, could potentially be in error.
