King of Kings is a member congregation of theELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America), which links us to the Lutheran Church worldwide. Within the ELCA, we are part of the Pacifica Synod, one of the 65 synods in the denomination. The Bishop of our Synod is the Rev. Andrew A. Taylor. The congregation was formed in 1960, and has been worshiping... at our current location since 1962. We offer two Sunday services , as well as a Wednesday noon service every week.Bible studie s and fellowship opportunities occur regularly, and our committees and ministry teams b ring folks together to do the work of the church. We also reach out into the community in many ways to help those in need. At King of Kings, we place a strong emphasis on music in worship, and this support has resulted in an exceptional music program . We also have a vibrant theater ministry called King's Playe rs, which involves members of our congregation and community of all ages. Our "church on a hill" stands as a beacon of hope, a symbol of faith, and a joyful representation of the body of Christ.
