Awareness will lead to money, the money will lead to the research and the research will lead to the cure.- President, Tim Hayden JTHF was founded by Tim and Cindy Hayden in September 2004 after their 12 year-old son Jeffrey was diagnosed with an inoperable malignant brain tumor known as diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Fo... undation established and funds the Postdoctoral Endowed Fellowship Fund in Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at The Ohio State University Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and the Richard L. Solove Research Institute, which connects researchers at OSU with doctors at Cincinnati Childrens and Nationwide Childrens Hospital with the goal of providing doctors an insight to the leading edge research and to provide feedback to the researchers on promising treatment options. Recently, JTHF has been a major contributor to the DIPG Registry, which is located within Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. The DIPG registry is funded by non profit organizations similar to JTHF, with the united goal to find a cure for not only DIPG cancer, but for all pediatric cancers.
