In late 2002 two "techies" got together and combined efforts to offer IT operations in Steamboat Spring. Both had been supporting various businesses and enterprises on an ad-hoc basis while runing their separate high-technology consulting companies. Owners and Principles of JDB Technology Solutions, LLC Jay moved his consulting business to Steamboat Springs in the mid '90s. Caliber Design specialized in ASIC (chip) design services for eventual use by companies like Hughs Aircraft. As a designer, Jay has intimate knowledge of the hardware side of computing. Jay manages the computer and netowrk repair portions of JDB Technology Solutions. He is also an expert in small business servers. Jay maintains the Linux servers used both remotely and on site to support the many web sites hosted by JDB Technology Solutions, LLC. Brock joined the company in 2007, replacing the retired Chita. Always on the alert, when not sleeping, he provides both on-site and remote security. Most recently, Brock was been placed in charge of the employee fitness program and is diligent to not allow employees to remain sedentary for long periods of time. Brian began a technology documentation consulting business in 1990. He has consulted with companies such as Agilent Technologies, B. Braun Medical, and Hewlett-Packard. Brian manages the programming and web portions of JDB Technology Solutions. Through research and seminars, Brian has become an expert in Search Engine Optimization and on-line advertising.
