Thank you for coming to learn more about my practice. I am Dr. Pablo Ferrer and my office is located in Menlo Park, California. As a licensed clinical psychologist (CA PSY 25776), I provide services to adults , children, adolescents, families , and couples . My approach to therapy is collaborative and based on the latest research in the fields of c... linical psychology, developmental psychology and neuroscience. I am also a teacher of mindfulness. I run small weekly meditation groups including introductory groups and on-going mindfulness groups. The Buddha taught us that life is full of suffering and yet we persevere. We are all in this together and I hope that I can serve as a compassionate guide to those in need. "Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." I've spent my academic and professional career learning about the science of human behavior and development. Equally important is my training in the art of therapy integrating both western and eastern philosophies. Knowing what's wrong isn't enough. When we suffer we need understanding, compassion, and caring from another and towards ourselves. I've devoted my life to this path. It is a great and humble honor to help another human being transform their life. I owe a thousand thank you's to the courage of my past clients and my teachers who've taught me more than I could have ever imagined. The master sees beyond what is obvious. He sees the unseen, feels the unfelt, and hears the unheard. He looks below the surface for what is hidden and so finds the great heartbeat of the Universe. He smiles, knowing it is his heartbeat, your heartbeat, our heartbeat. I provide different services based on the client and the presenting situation.
