The purpose of IPInfoDB is not to be profitable but to offer free and high quality IP geolocation tools to whoever needs it. Unfortunately quality hosting and dedicated servers cost money. We are paying that with users donations, Adsense and sponsors. Since our APIs requires more processing power than bandwidth, we are also hosting Centos, Ubuntu, Archlinux mirrors on our servers ( Canada mirror, Germany mirror). We are serving over 6000GB/month of data with our mirrors. If you use our API or database on a regular basis, we would really appreciate any donation. Suggested donation is 1$/month or 10$/year.
