We currently have a number of building service engineering jobs available, which are perfect for candidates who have a few years of experience, in addition to bachelors in an engineering related discipline. Candidates will have to carry out an array of duties and follow the necessary safety measures and best practices. There is a wide variety of building services engineer jobs and many of them will entail different tasks. You will be expected to work closely with other teams such as project managers, engineers and even third party contractors. You must possess the communication skills which will allow you to effectively time manage and delegate tasks between the team. Building services engineers must have knowledge of design principles and a certain degree of computer proficiency to edit and complete designs, and the ability to interpret other computer generated designs. In buildings where water services need to be maintained you may have to design and work on HVAC systems, pipes, pumps, valves and extraction facilities. Other projects may be tailored towards electrical or mechanical engineers, so a base knowledge of these practices will make you an attractive candidate. All candidates must have experience of creating budgets and factoring in equipment costs.
