Inspire Physical Therapy

Robin has been a licensed physical therapist since 1997 obtaining her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, board certification in Sports Physical Therapy in 2015, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. Inspire Physical Therapy is her dream and passion....to heal kids and athletes, as well as, help educate parents, coaches, and kids on how t... o avoid and prevent injuries. Robin moved to the Beaverton area in the beginning of 2015. Prior to her move, she worked at Children's Hospital and Research Center, Oakland (now named UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital). She was hired in 2002 to work in the Orthopedic Clinic alongside Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons helping with post-op care, initial care plans, treatments for home, and referrals to local physical therapy practices. In 2004, Robin was one of the founding staff members of the Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes. As their Senior Physical Therapist for over 11 years, she treated various diagnoses, designed and implemented several clinic and community programs, and was a consultant to many local schools and sports clubs in the area. Her background as an athlete began as a child competing in figure skating from ages 5-14. Throughout high school and college she worked at several gyms as a lifeguard, aerobic instructor, and swim instructor. During her junior year in college she joined the Chico State Women's Lacrosse team. In 2016, Robin was accepted to do a rotation at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Her patients were Olympic hopefuls in gymnastics, cycling, ice skating, skeleton, and even the heptathlon. She also had to privilege of working with Para-Olympic hopefuls in swimming and Judo. Since then, in 2017 and 2018 she returned to Colorado springs working with team USA swimming, wrestling, gymnastics, and cycling.
