This is some text inside of a div block. Before I became an IT consultant, I worked for a contractor. I had to fill out tons of paperwork for everything, make sure copies got sent to all of the different departments, and memorize processes for each different type of job we did. I hated it. So much of it was redundant, and it took up a lot of my time. Unintentionally, I started down the path that lead me to here. I said, This is 2009. There has got to be a better way to handle all of this. So I began to optimize as many of the processes as I could. I learned about the software we used and started creating some simple scripts to automate my workflow. Id been bitten by the tech bug. Eventually, the company recognized that there were other areas that needed improvement. I was tasked with changing those processes as well. I started writing complex spreadsheets and using every piece of technology we had available. Id become a full on techie. Id never have admitted it at the time, but I was. By 2011, I was in charge of handling all new electronic form creations. I had eliminated mountains of paperwork from our collective workflows. I was hooked. Technology was my future. I had put every process I could onto my Mac, iPad, and iPhone. It was time for a change. At this point I was 100% paperless in everything I possibly could be. If I could do it digitally, I would.
