Hope Church

I'm so glad you are here. There is so much going on in every day of every life that it's hard to take time for things that are really significant! The Tampa Bay area is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful areas in the world. There's so much to do around here and Sundays are one of the best days to get out and do some of them. We know that at Hope... and recognize that your time is valuable not just to you, but also to God. Some folks go to church out of obligation. They feel like it's just "the thing to do." That's not the way it's supposed to be. We should go for two simple reasons-to give and to get. To give to God something precious, our time and energy and to be with other people who want to do the same! You get some of the best friends you will ever have out of relationships formed at church. My promise to you is to make sure that every worship experience, every small group meeting, everything we do is worthwhile and life-changing. We have a passion to share the hope we have found in being followers of Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples (followers) that in turn make disciples. We are a hospital for the wounded and lifeboat crew that serves others. We aim to contribute as much as we can to the wellbeing of our community and bring lasting hope to our city. Hope Church is a very casual atmosphere. We are more concerned about connecting with you than what you are wearing. Come as you are; feel welcomed. Our general worship music style is contemporary. We do incorporate other styles such as classic hymns, bluegrass, and country on occasion. The important thing to us is not the style of music on any given Sunday but rather congregational participation.
