Homoly Construction

Solar and Wind KC was founded by Andrew Homoly, LEED Accredited Professional, and Certified Green Professional. The company was the natural off shoot of Homoly Construction, the Green Building construction company founded by Andrew Homoly in 1997. Homoly Construction has built some of the greenest projects in Kansas City, including a LEED Platinum... Home, Energy Star Homes, NAHB Gold Homes, and multiple Green projects that chose not to obtain the actual certification. Homoly Construction's office is in a LEED Silver certified building they completed in 2009. The idea for branching off into solar and wind came directly from Homoly's clients. Most of them showed a heavy interest in renewable energy sources, but could not find a good local provider for these services. With Andrew's engineering background, access to roofing, framing, & electrical workers, and passion for innovative technologies, he decided to fulfill this need directly. By creating a separate company, he is now able to provide solar and wind services to anyone in the Midwest region. Andrew is joined by the same strong family team from Homoly Construction. His father Guy has more than 40 years experience in the construction industry. His brother Casey grew up in the construction business as well. The three Homolys form the core of the Solar and Wind KC team.Read More
