Established in 2002, HomeWorx is the creation of J.R. Spence, a long-time entrepreneur operating primarily in Oklahoma and Texas. Previously, Spence owned and operated The Worx Company - an Internet business development and marketing firm. During the The Worx Company's formidable rise from humble beginnings in 1998, Spence developed strong business... relationships in the Real Estate Industry; ranging from Real Estate Agencies and Home Builders to Mortgage Brokers and Banks. Spence helped these clients utilize the new social networking and business opportunities offered by the Internet. Working with these companies gave Spence unique insight into the future of Real Estate marketing and he quickly realized the obvious connection between the new global network technology and the Real Estate industry. After performing careful market research and tapping into the collective expertise of his clientele, Spence founded HomeWorx Mortgage in February of 2002. HomeWorx originally operated as a Mortgage Company marketing itself to Realtors and Home Builders as an Internet-savvy, next-generation firm. Although the marketing strategy proved to be effective, it became apparent to Spence that the process could be made far more effective. As a result, Spence obtained his Real Estate License and opened HomeWorx Real Estate which, along with HomeWorx Mortgage, have become full-service Real Estate and Mortgage Brokerage Companies. These separate, but complementary services offer home sellers a better set of options than a traditional Realtor could provide.
