As a former police officer with 30 years of experience, and a US Army veteran, Pat has witnessed a wide range of emergency situations, and interacted daily with people challenged by life's events. This history of traumatic exposure has provided Pat with a reality-based insight of people in crisis, what he calls a street understanding of people facing challenges. Hinkle & Associates specializes in individual, marriage and family counseling and treatment of law enforcement personnel, their significant others and family members, emergency service providers, crime victims, and anger management. The practice also provides consulting and training services in areas of crisis/stress management. And Hinkle & Associates offers the specialty treatment of Defendant Behavioural Intervention, a goal-oriented, psycho-therapeutic counseling for criminal defendants. Pat offers services with an emphasis toward the law enforcement profession, criminal justice-related areas, and forensic psychology.
