In 2000 St. Louis High Performance Volleyball Club (boys) and Team St. Louis (girls) combined two of the most successful clubs in the area to a single non-profit organization: High Performance-STL Volleyball Club. Since their respective beginnings, the company's boys and girls teams have earned national recognition by coaching and playing volleybal... l at an elite level. Through boys and girls divisional cooperation, High Performance-STL is able to provide athletes with an exceptional "one club" environment to grow both as a play and an individual. High Performance-STL is committed to the promotion of elite volleyball in the St. Louis metro area and southern Illinois. The company's dedicated coaches are positive teachers and mentors, instilling high morals and ethical standards towards all of the company's athletes. The company feel that the company's skilled coaches and supportive staff aid in building of character, self-esteem, and confidence in young athletes. The company is a structured program with defined goals for each age level. The company's unified coaching staff teaches consistent player technique throughout all age levels, enabling a smooth transition from coach to coach during an ahtlete's club experience.
