About High Peak
The operation is managed on a day to day basis by Centrebus. Centrebus is a privately owned bus operator, based in Leicester, with depots in Stevenage, Luton, Leicester and Grantham. D&G Bus operating in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Stoke on Trent is also part of the Centrebus group. Since January 2021 we also operate in the Cannock area under the Chaserider brand. Our fleet of buses ranges from 21 seat Optare Solos to 45 seat single deck buses , operating a mix of commercial and contracted bus services. The core commercial services being the Transpeak between Derby and Buxton and the Skyline 199 services between Buxton and Manchester Airport. As well as local authorities, we operate bus services for a number of schools, Universities, works contracts and the NHS. We also operate emergency and scheduled rail replacement services and park and ride services for one off events.
