Hayward Aviation was formed in November 1992 to meet the specialist insurance needs of corporate and private aviation and helicopter owners and operators in the UK. Since 1992 the company has expanded our scope of expertise to include the broadest cross section of the dynamic and demanding Business Aviation market internationally. Initially the com... pany was a part of the Oriel Group, but in 1997 the current senior directors led a management buyout. In 2003 Hayward Aviation acquired M P Bolshaw Ltd, a UK based general aviation and helicopter broker. In August 2007 a majority shareholding in the company was acquired by The Towergate Partnership. In December 2014, Hayward Aviation was acquired by Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc ("JLT"), one of the world's leading international insurance brokerage groups, from The Towergate Partnership. Today, Hayward Aviation employs approximately 70 staff providing aviation and related non-aviation insurance broking services to clients across the world. The day to day operation of the company continues to be managed by the existing Directors of Hayward Aviation and we maintain our independent identity to reflect our pre-eminent global market position in the Business Aviation insurance sector. The company is a registered Lloyd's Broker and are fully authorized and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
