Hannah the Pet Society was founded in part to make lives better for Pets. The company is not a Pet shop nor do the company search for the Perfect Pet Match at puppy mills or un-reputable shelters. Animal Rights Awareness Week began as a way to get the word out on the conditions of puppy mills, some Pet shops, shelters, labs, zoos and even circuses... and that's a cause the company can stand behind. Hannah's goal is to help re-home as many Pets stuck in shelters as the company possibly can and keep those Pets from returning to shelters. One way the company do this is to ensure the Pet is physically healthy without behavior issues (both top reasons why Pets are sent to or returned to shelters) and the company also require Hannah members to take a personality test and interview process to ensure that their lifestyle matches to the right Pet (another reason why Pets are abandoned).
