About Hal Sports
HAL (Healthy Active Living) Sports (www.halsports.net) is a SomersPro, Inc. company based in Littleton, Colorado and was founded by Lonnie and Michelle Somers. Lonnie & Michelle Somers fell into event directing by starting a 5K in support of fetal syndromes research and awareness that almost took the life of their identical twin daughters during their pregnancy. Since that time, their event, The Great Candy Run in Denver, has grown to be the largest 5K timed 5K in Colorado with the largest kids program with more than 2,500 kids running their first 5K. In 2009, they founded HAL Sports, a timing/scoring and event consulting company. HAL Sports now is full service event management company that partners with charities, communities, and companies in the production and execution of their event with emphasis on creating memorable experiences.
