Amidst all the uncertainty of the past year, hundreds of donors saw the challenges facing our students and rose to the occasion. Thanks to our amazing community, Gunn Foundation was able to grant over $118k in need-based scholarships to 24 resilient and amazing students from the Gunn Class of 1968. These amazing and resilient students are off to study architecture, automotive engineering, biology, business, computer science, engineering, film, graphic design, history, interactive media, kinesiology, marketing, mathematics, ministry, political science, psychology, sociology, and more at wonderful institutions including Foothill CC, San Jose State U, San Francisco State, Cal Poly SLO, Fresno State, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Michigan State, University of the Pacific, Mt. Holyoke, Chapman, UC Merced, and more. Gunn Foundation helped make college an option for me. The scholarship relieved stress in so many ways since college is a financial burden on my family. It also encouraged me to know I can find help when I need it. Gunn Foundation was there to get me started on my college career path.
