Family: Married for 20+ years with 3 children. Beginning his career at auto dealers in 1977, Rick has held most positions from Lot Attendant to General Manager. Contrary to the norm, Rick worked his way up through fixed operations and is a specialist in this area as well as overall dealership financial analysis. Ricks experience helped him to develop a deep, inside understanding of what makes a dealership tick. Rick turned to the manufacturer/wholesale side of the industry in 1998 as a District Manager for Saab USA and as a Regional Sales Manager then Director of Service and Parts Operations for Lotus USA. The result of Ricks combined experience is that he can think like a dealer or a factory representative. Rick is adept in training as he spent two years at Saab USA as a training specialist and has trained hundreds of dealership managers in basic financial analysis as well as management skills, both hard and soft skills such as communication styles, conflict management and teambuilding.
