Graveney Trust

Welcome to the Graveney Trust! We are proud to have been asked to set up our Multi-Academy Trust which runs Graveney School, Tooting Primary School and Franciscan Primary School and Children's Centre. Graveney School has a history of outstanding achievement over very many years, with five outstanding Ofsted inspections to its credit in the last cou... ple of decades. This is a tribute to the commitment, professionalism and loyalty of our staff as well as the energy and hard work of our students. We have learnt much over the years and relish the opportunity to share our knowledge about what makes an outstanding school with other organisations for the benefit of local youngsters and their families. The creation of Tooting Primary School has provided us with just this opportunity. We are excited about the possibilities offered to multi-academy trusts in the rapidly changing world of education. It has been an exciting project which has had overwhelming support from local parents. The school now has two cohorts in each year from Reception to Year 5. The school achieved Ofsted 'Outstanding' for its first full inspection in June 2016. The school is well staffed, and is ably led by its experienced and forward looking headteacher. In early 2017 we were approached by the governing body of Franciscan School with a request that we consider incorporating their school into the Trust. We are delighted to announce that, on 1st September 2018, Franciscan joined our MAT and we are looking forward to working closely together as a community of local schools to ensure the best possible educational opportunities are available to parents in the Tooting area.
