In 1992 Melissa Bair met Jason Helquist for the first time when she attended a gathering at a mutual friend's beautiful victorian home, in Layton, UT. Fast-forward 27 years and five kids later, Melissa & Jason would have the opportunity to purchase that home...which is now known as "The Grand Victorian." The Grand Victorian is not only part of Layt... on City history, but also a part of Helquist Family history. One of the main reasons the Helquists purchased The Grand Victorian in 2019, was to create a place where they could create valuable experiences together with family, friends, and colleagues. They knew it was absolutely essential to have the help of Jason's sister Valerie Nye and her family to make The Grand Victorian a special place for all who visit. The two families enjoy the time they get to spend together making The Grand Victorian a place their guests can feel most comfortable spending time with their own families.
