Grace United Church

Rev. Seeley joined the Ministry in 1953. Rev Seeley and his wife Marion have been married for over 60 years and have lived most of those years in the Elgin area. Rev. Seeley is a published author and is always willing to share his wisdom, sense of humour and wonderful stories with you. Paul has been Organist and Choirmaster at Grace United Church s... ince 1968. His early training on piano was with Mrs. Pearl Mabee, and he later studied with H.W. Hawke and C. David Cameron. You can read more about Paul on our Choir page. Laurie joined Grace United in 2009 as Church Administrator. After raising her family, Laurie returned to school for Business Admin/Accounting. That is when fate steped in and brought Laurie to Grace United, she is always ready to step in and help no matter what the task. We, the members of the Grace United Church Community of Faith, as disciples of Christ, recognize and celebrate the contribution of each member of our church community. As an inclusive community of faith, we welcome and support all individuals and pledge to live as God taught us, to love and respect each other.. I really enjoy being part of the (Pies for God's sake) group. We all have such fun working together making pies. It gives me a wonderful sense of community and belonging, plus I am now really good at rolling out pastry!! On a recent summer Sunday, as I approached Grace Church, I could hear the buzz of activity from inside as people enjoyed coffee time before the service. It was such a welcoming feeling to know that beyond the door was fellowship with a positive group who are working together to build a church future that is hopeful, more inclusive, and based on Christ's teachings. joining this vibrant, warm and welcoming Community of Faith, beginning with coffee in the sanctuary at 10 am, makes me eagerly look forward to Sunday morning and WORSHIPRead More
