With this key factor in mind backed by the increasing growth and domination of Doosan CNC Machine Tools in the NZ market place, we were presented an opportunity to expand Globals core business into the cutting tools sector. Global Machine Tools tooling division officially opened in June 2008 with Sumitomo, a world leader in Carbide, Diamond and CBN Cutting Tools, BIG Daishowa, the worlds best Total Tooling System and PH Horn who dominate the worlds grooving industry. In June 2009 the sole distributorship of Guhring cutting tools from Germany was awarded. Guhring are regarded world wide as one of the most innovative and key producers of Drills, Taps & Endmills and are recognised as a "premium" product at an realistic price here in New Zealand.
