We offer theological and practical ministry training to national pastors, church leaders, women, and children, so they can be more effective preachers, teachers, evangelists, and witnesses of their faith in Jesus Christ. Because this training requires men leave their families and ministries for extended periods we offer one-week modules of eight-ho... ur a day sessions. Students cannot normally be absent from their ministries, work responsibilities, and families longer than a week. This also does not cripple local churches while key leadership staff members are off getting trained. Students are required to take competence exams daily to insure they are both receiving and comprehending the material they are being taught. Global Baptist Training Foundation offers four levels of training in Hermeneutics, Basic Theology, Expositional Preaching, and Evangelism. For national pastors who desire training in the original biblical languages, we also offer extended training in this area. When it is possible to return to teaching sites twice a year, the training can be completed in as little as two years (without languages). ESL is also available to all of our students. Our desire is for the training materials to be translated into the host language so they can be copied and continually utilized by those who have been trained to train others perpetually. This enables the possibility of continuous training and therefore "intentional multiplication" of pastors and other important church leaders.
