ANU College

AUSCEW is a three-year collaboration (2010-2013) between the United States Studies Centre (USSC) and the Australian National University (ANU). The mission of the USSC at the University of Sydney is to increase understanding of the United States in Australia. The USSC through its Dow Sustainability Program brings together academic and policy experts... from Australia and the US to develop action-oriented solutions to a range of sustainability challenges concerning energy, water, food and biodiversity that are technologically innovative, commercially scalable and politically viable. The ANU is driven by its mission to advance the cause of learning and research in Australia. Through the ANU Water Initiative it is undertaking research and communications on the nexus between climate, energy and water policies. It seeks to identify linkages between these sectors and management mechanisms for optimising benefits for society.
