About Glass House

The Glass House, established in Kingston in 1972 by Sheila Marsh was taken over by its current owner, Lynda MacRae in 1999. The Glass House has had several "homes" - from 85 Princess Street in downtown Kingston to its current location at 991 Sydenham Road. Traditionally, The Glass House was a retail store and studio set up to sell stained glass supplies and finished products. We still do that; however, we also offer numerous classes in traditional stained glass; as well as glass fusing, mosaics and jewellery. We also carry a large selection of finished items made by us or by local artisans; including stained glass suncatchers, panels, garden ornaments, jewellery, fused dishes, lamps, candleholders and stepping stones. Our current location, a charming red brick farmhouse from the mid-1800's, provides a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for visitors, students, staff.
