Garten Services, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1970 to support people with disabilities in their effort to contribute to the community through employment, career, and retirement opportunities. ur actions increase society's awareness of human potential. The company integrate individuals with disabilities into the communi... ty: Garten helps to create opportunities for over 500 adults with disabilities in the Willamette Valley to work, live and participate in non-segregated settings. The company also work closely with local employers to assist in recruiting, training and hiring Garten program participants into their workforce. Garten augments community placements with employment opportunities in the company's own fee-for-services professional enterprises, including: Recycling, Commercial Laundry, Mail Services, Print Services, Packaging and Assembly, Custodial, Electronics Recycling and Secure Document Destruction. The company also provide the company's Day Break Activities Program at the company's South Salem and Dallas, Oregon locations. Participants keep physically, socially and cerebrally active, while also engaged in the company's community. Garten offers services from five locations in Salem, Dallas and Eugene.
