By working in partnership with the Department on the Status of Women, Mayor London Breed's Office, SFPD, District Attorney's Office, San Francisco Sheriff's Department and La Casa de Las Madres we developed a Domestic Violence Lethality Assessment Tool. H.A.R.T.,? the Honest Assessment Response Tool? digitizes the upfront data collection associated... with a Domestic Violence call for service and instantly connects the relevant stakeholders in the community. At its core, it gives the officer or victim advocate the ability to connect survivors and at-risk individuals with available services in real-time. During 2020, stemming in part from the BLM movement, Forseti realized there was a much larger need within the criminal justice system to help reimagine policing in the United States. Our goal is to utilize our existing law enforcement infrastructure to redirect at-risk individuals to the social justice system, when appropriate.
