We made our entry to triathlon media back in 2005, enjoying a two y... ear stint at Australia's all-sports radio station, 1116AM SEN. Like many a bold adventure, our transition to the internet came as a result of beer-fuelled speculation set in Melbourne's summer sunshine, postulating about what was then a gap in the Australian triathlon scene for current, comprehensive and dynamic coverage of triathlon, observed through a local Australian lens. Since December of 2007, firstoffthebike.com has grown to become Australia's 'go to' triathlon website, covering the major triathlon events in Australia and across the globe, regularly speaking with the luminaries of our terrific sport, including Craig Alexander, Marino Vanhoenacker, Heather Jackson, Mirinda Carfrae and Alistair Brownlee and surrounding ourselves with a fantastically talented team of specialist editors and contributors.
