First Things First (FTF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing research-based resources to equip individuals with healthy relationship skills to live better lives. Through face-to-face programming, one-on-one coaching sessions, and digital resources, FTF assists individuals, couples, and parents to identify obstacles that keep them fro... m creating deep connections and provide a plan to build stronger relationships. The company's long-term vision is that those skills will be passed down from generation to generation, breaking cycles of relationship dysfunction and creating positive change. In order to most effectively help individuals and families move from surviving to thriving, the company implement a holistic approach based on the Domains of Family Practice Model. By partnering with other local non-profits, the company combines family case management, family life education, and family therapy, as well as coaching and advocacy, in order to best ensure lasting change.
