He has more than 20 years of experience as an accounting and audit professional performing financial and operational audits of government contractors, grantees, and the federal government. John's background in public, private, and government accounting including the Defense Contract Audit Agency gives him a unique perspective into the financial, tax, and business needs of his clients. He has expertise in government contract accounting; internal controls of accounting and management systems; budgetary and proprietary accounting of federal agencies; and individual, corporate, partnership, gift, and estate taxation. If needed, John also has the ability to retain a secret clearance. John is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He earned his Accountancy degree from Bentley University and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Nichols College. John is licensed by the Internal Revenue Services as an Enrolled Agent which requires technical expertise in the field of taxation. He is also certified in Federal Financial Management.
