Excursions, rock climbing (including vie ferrate with fixed protection), mountain bike trails, launch sites for paragliding and enchanting views for photography enthusiasts are all available close by. The Fermeda Lodge started many years ago, in 1937, with a small hut for mountaineers open during the summer months. In 1961, when the cable car from Ortisei to Seceda was built, the hut started opening during the winter months as well. In 1983, it was completely renovated. This is where you can vividly feel the thrill of nature... Set in a pristine natural environment, far from traffic and noise, its an easy 15-minute walk to reach the hut. On foot: a 15-minute walk over flat terrain from the Col Raiser cable car mountain station. On skis: from the Col Raiser cable car mountain station, take the slope leading to the Fermeda chairlift. Take the lift, go up and drive down to the hut. Warning!!! Remember to keep in mind the closing times of the lifts!
