FCG ANZDEC was established in New Zealand in 1970 and became part of the FCG Finnish Consulting Group (FCG) in 2002. The company provides consulting and project management services for international development - environmentally-sound and socially-equitable economic growth. Our key sectors include agriculture development, coastal and marine resourc... es management, water resources management, climate change adaptation, and disaster risk management. In addition to working throughout the Asia-Pacific region, we have developed strong expertise in tropical island economic growth, placing an emphasis on conserving islands' unique biodiversity by harnessing modern, traditional, and indigenous knowledge and practices. FCG ANZDEC provides consulting services mainly to bilateral development agencies (such as New Zealand Aid Programme and the United Kingdom Department for International Development), multilateral agencies (such as the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank), United Nations agencies (such as the Food and Agriculture Organization), regional organizations (such as the Secretariat of the Pacific Community), as well as governments and private sector companies. Since 1970, we have implemented around 700 projects, mostly in the regions of Asia and the Pacific.
