About Fairfield Plumbing
The year of 2012 sees Fairfield Services reach a milestone of 40 years of operation since our incorporation in 1972. Fairfield was founded 40 years ago under the Company name of Flowtech Hydraulics Pty Ltd trading as Fairfield Plumbing & Mechanical Services and was a subsidiary company of the construction giant Barclay Mowlem Constructions. In the year 2000, a management buyout saw the company separate from the Barclay Mowlem group and move to new premises at Rocklea in Brisbane. Fairfield operated from the leased premises at Rocklea for 6 years, however after substantial company growth and the establishment of a new division specializing in the Fire Services which includes Fire Sprinkler, Fire Detection, Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems, Fairfield had out grown the Rocklea Facilities. In August 2006 a new Brisbane headquarters was constructed at Capalaba.
