Etz Hayim Synagogue

At Etz Hayim Synagogue, you will find a warm, caring community. The synagogue was formed in 1991 as an independent, egalitarian synagogue, committed to be open to all seekers, to provide services for Shabbat and holidays, to educate both children and adults, and to work to repair the world (Tikkun Olam). The synagogue is located on an "interfaith c... ampus" and shares a close relationship with the Derry Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration. In 2013, the Eagle Tribune identified the relationship between Etz Hayim Synagogue and DECOFT as one of the top 603 reasons to live in New Hampshire. Among our joint efforts, our two organizations host Elijahs Table, a free monthly meals program. Etz Hayim is affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism and the Jewish Federation of New Hampshire. Our members reside not only in Derry and Londonderry, but also in Chester, Epping, Exeter, Hampstead, Salem, Manchester, Portsmouth, and Windham.
